Junior High School Information and Communication Technology Learner Outcomes

The RiverWatch Science Program can assist teachers in their efforts to meet the "General and Specific Learner Outcomes" for the Alberta Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Curriculum in place for the years 2000 - 2003.

The Alberta ICT Program of Studies outlines three interrelated categories of General and Specific Learner Outcomes:

• Communicating, Inquiring, Decision Making and Problem Solving



• Foundational Operations, Knowledge and Concepts



• Processes for Productivity

Participation in the RiverWatch Science Program can forge a great fit with the ICT curriculum especially in the areas of "Communicating" and "Productivity".
