Many of the questions that we get asked by teachers and principals are related to RiverWatch safety. "Hey, it sounds like a great program, but it's out on a river. Aren't rivers dangerous?"

Asking More Questions

Motivated by an increasing concern over liability issues, school and board administrators are asking more and more questions concerning the educational benefits and safeguards for any and all field trips. This paradigm shift can be unsettling for many people, but it can only lead to a better and safer education system.

An Accident-Free Program

RiverWatch is up to the test! RiverWatch has always provided the highest quality field trip experience and undertakes all reasonable steps to ensure that there is not undue risk of injury or accident.

  • Staff are fully trained.

Off-Site Filter Documents

The answers to the "Frequently Asked Questions" that follow constitute a response to school board filter documents designed to define and support only those field trips that meet specified educational and risk management criteria.
