Things To Leave At Home

You'll be outside and around water for an entire day with RiverWatch. You don't need to bring anything that might be damaged by water, otherwise cause problems or that we can supply for you.

We had one student show up carrying a car door on a really hot spring day. When I asked what was up with the door, the student said… "If I get too hot today, I'll just roll down the window to cool off!"

Things that can cause problems…

• fishing rods
• water cannons
• pocket knives
• individually wrapped candies
• sunflower seeds
• glass containers
• footballs, basketballs, etc.
• swim suits
• money
• cigarettes
• matches
• glass containers
• drugs, cigarettes or alcohol

Things that we can supply…

• paper and pens
• rubber boots - but if you have your own, bring them!
• rain jacket - but if you have your own, bring it!
