Why is the North Saskatchewan River so brown?

| Actually the brown color on not caused by any pollution. It is all the sint in the river. Ifyou take a look at the banks of the river you will notice that it is made mostly os silt. When there is high water flow the river grabs this silt and mixes it within the water. If you take a look at the river when there are low water flows you will find the water to be quite clear with turbitity reading close to zero |

| Partly because of the silt that is picked up by the current, and ofcourse because of pollution. |
