| the river in Calgary is really clean and safe. I would swim in it, i would swim in it even a hundread metres down from the sewage treament plant. I so greatful we have such a clean river. I 've been to countrie where the water was pitch black like thick oil. |

| Our water is safe if you want to play in it, but you should never drink surface water anywhere. No one controls the wild animals and they live in, on and near the water. It is up to people to make sure our water stays safe and gets as clean as we can get it.
Drinking water goes through a process in big water treatment plants to make it safe for humans. River water and lakes have lots of naturally occuring organisms we don't can't handle. |

| Although some tests shows that our river is healthy, but we never test mercury or lead in the river. If they could do that one of these tests, then it would be much helpful to determine whether the North Sasketchewan River is healthy or not. I think it's safe |

| i think that our water sytem isn't actually clean because even if they clean the water there is a chance that there coul;d be bacteria or harmful beacterisa in the water system |
